SPM Results are OUT!

Hallelujah, SPM results were out, like finally, after 3 months of waiting, we have taken results at last and had one hell of day. Yay, actually nothing to do with the SPM results, it was all about the outing we had after taking results.

Reason why now only I update about this post ?
Because it would be too common when everyone else posted on the same day/week, I'd post it after a month, where people could have forgotten hehe. :)

Everyone had got good grades, all seem so happy with their results. Congrats once again to whom have been shortlisted for JPA interview.
Well, I didn't have this chance, fated, 9A's but Malay got a B, there my chance slipped. :( Anyway, it's not the time for being regretted and upset, shall move on. :)

Top scorer with 13A's.
Alright, I shall end the results part, let's proceed to .. 'after-party'. :)

Went to the Sin Nam Huat Chicken Rice Shop and had , if you have ever viewed mine or my gang's facebook profile, you would discover that this particular name appeared quite a few times, as it's a must-have for lunch whenever we rendezvous. :D

Our record, finished 1 whole roasted chicken, 1kg of char-siew within 10minutes, expenditure record, RM110. :O

Teik Hua!!! congrats to him for getting 7A's in SPM and passed car test on the same day, double grats! ;)

Jiunn Shyan, who joined us during group study before SPM.

Then, went to watch 'The Adjustment Bureau'.

Oh, and him too, laogao - Monkey, congrats on hitting 7A's and received full scholarships from Singapore's NanYang Polytechnic College, who is flying over there next week. I'd miss you and the time we spent together in class. All the best in future and may god be with you, we shall meet up after 3 years.

Kay Elle Trip with the 9th Gang Day 3

Nothing much to do on the third day, woke up later than the past two days after had a fantastic gossip night.
Went to have a stroll along Bintang Walk, and found no breakfast! Damn! Like finally, went to a road stall and had these noodles, tasted kind of not bad too, if you eat beef, this would be an addiction to you.

It's like the 'tok-tok-mee' we used to have in Penang, the minced meat is made of beef, finished with special sauce and with some shallots sprinkled on top. Yum Yum.

Dry Koay Teow Thng, served with Yeong-Tao-Fu in soup.
Had like double portion of them and was like a 'python' after devouring a calf.
Went back to hotel and checked out.

LMAO at his dexter lab's bag hahahaha. Couldn't believe he could stuff all the items inside this small bag. ._.

Our tour leader busy checking out while we.. did strange moves LOL.

Since there were a few hours before bus departed, we went to have lunch and watched 'Unknown' at Pavilion which is much-far-far-better-than-world-invasion.

Constipation? LMAO..

Seems like we went there at the wrong hour, food court was utterly-absurdly-packed, as if they were providing free foods.
Anyway, gonna end this post with street shooting. :)

Oh, our tour leader was bringing us to cross the busy street. :P

Kay Elle Trip with the 9th Gang Day 2

Alright, let's continue from the previous post, this post is regarding how we spent our second day in KL. Fun indeed, as Teikhua's 'aura' assembled our 'forces'.
9th gang, here we go! *trumpets-blown*
Spent our morning wandering in Petalling Street and seeked for breakfast, it was absurd as pea-polz used to tell that the stalls open at around 4-5pm. Anyway, we still had to wait and wait and wait until the famous 滑鸡面 stall opens, so we walked around the streets and bought some street snacks to fill our stomach first.
OMG at the authentic 叶子楣大包 (Meat pao), it's as big as cienzen's face (provided that his face is already big enough) and it only costed RM4.50, as a matter of fact, it was indeed 'cheap and big piece' (which penangites used to say this phrase in Hokkien dialect, which defined as very worthy).

Guess how we ate the whole of it? We sat down, and were like passing the pao from one to another one, ate it bit by bit. Haha, it might sound gay and 'aw-sum' but we actually did that.

Then we literally stood there waited for half an hour, and only the stall has opened! Okay, may be not standing there, I've forgotten haha.

Oh god! Teikhua (left, small eyes, braces-ed, curly hair -- his trademarks) has made his premier in this post, finally.
If you still haven't heard of what is 滑鸡面, this is it,

You're probably drooling right? Steamed chicken as the side dish of the noodles, the chicken was tenderly soft, topped with sweet and slightly salted sauces as dressing, what a good finishing. Why are you supposed to drool? see how they reacted upon seeing their breakfast had been served.

They did finish it within 5 minutes...
Then went to had some drinks, not literally went into any starbucks nor coffee bean but the healthy drink that 'should be drank daily', alright, this is wrong facts, excessive intake of sweet drinks is not good. ._.

Went to Sentral square afterwards to take LRT back to hotel and almost got ourselves lost in KL, even with teikhua's guidance, practically walked from petalling street to sentral road for twice and only reached the LRT station after 20 minutes.. duh, failed.
And I was like.. 'damn, my legs sore and.. stomach ache. ._.'

Trying to stop a LRT as if gesturing to call for a cab? It could be.

In the LRT weeee!!

Went back to Hotel and had bath before heading out to Pavillion for movie (Battle Los Angeles : World Invasion, typical movie which aliens invaded earth, people were like o-m-g, and USA saved the day. The only part of delighting me was, Ne-Yo was starred as co-actor in the movie!); Lot 10, Fahrenheit 88 and Times Square in a row.

At Times Square bowling. My hair was hidden underneath the beanie, so nobody could see my messy hair without wax on. :D
I'd apologize that not many photos were taken that day, was kind of hyped being in the precinct of sin. :(
So, let's proceed to the dinner part.

I had to make the premier of my 'lol-ing' hair at last..

Damn LaoGao! Why weren't you looking at the camera! Ruined the picture already. :O
And, Teikhua is quite pathetic, he has only very few appearances in the post, sad case! :P He headed back to his campus after dinner with us.

Botak! This is ChinCan, who just came back from National Service haha.

Took cab back to hotel, bathed, passed motion(lol), and chit-chatted before chillin out at the pub street in front of our hotel, initially wanted to enter a club but then we have yet reached 21-legal-age, so yeah, went to Healy Macs to have my Mojito cocktail.
Ya know what? Mojito is awesome, and I was in love with it, I have been seeking for the cocktail whenever I went to bistro with friends/colleagues.
I had my face topped with crimson red in colour. We went to find 'chics' at the hotel massage service, hell no, we did not lose our virginity over the hoes though! We didn't even see them but only entered and asked for pricing for massaging. Guess that we're really hyped that night. Awesome, we had chit chat until 3 past the midnight and ranted on some sensitive issues stealthy .

Kay Elle Trip with The 9th Gang 2011

Alright, so now everyone has started their studies, mostly. Well, I have been working for 2 months thus far. Ay, working isn't as easy as people used to think of, especially working at outside, the bosses would show no mercy to us part-timer. LMAO, just saying, it should be fine as long as you don't do the wrong thing at the wrong time.

March has been nice though, just so much of Ups and Downs. First, I had gone for a trip to KL with the gangs (it was awesome, but it could be even more awesome-er if ahgu and yewjie join us.), then we have taken our SPM results, of course followed up with parties/outings after taken results. But now, it's so hard to have an outing, everyone is leaving/has started their studies. Teikhua went to KL, Zhicheng, Cienzen and peiliang have started college, ahgu, yewjie and chincan have started to work (including me); Oh, there's a monkey too, who is currently at Singapore and will be having interview for Nan Yang Polytechnic Scholarships... er, tomorrow? (good luck bro! C:).
Friends come and go, is it that hard to maintain our friendship? :O I'd wish that we'll have some gathering or hotel stay or what-so-ever-hangout-you-guys-plan sooner, all RSVP 'attending' with no hesitation at Facebook event page, aight!

Alright, I guess I have ranted some emotional stuffs, aight, stop it, it has exceeded my initial 'quota' already.

Let's get back to what I should have posted earlier, the Kay Elle Trip, which organized by Zhicheng. Eh, the feeling of having tour with friends has no equal and could never be compared (okay, may be with parents though?)
We went there by bus, unlike someone, who traveled to KL and study, have gotten FAMA scholarships to spend in KL, take AirAsia to and fro KL. :P

Settled in Radius International Hotel where located right in the precinct of sin, off the Jalan Imbi, where night life there is awesome. (From left, CienZen, ZhiCheng, ChinCan, JianSheng)

Then went to Suria KLCC by cab, have you ever seen 5 big guys cramped together in the car like a school of sardines in a net? ._.

@Kinokuniya book store, it's kind of like the Borders, where there's a cafe, the only difference is, it is 3 times bigger than Borders in Queensbay Mall (Aight, I might have been being over reacted). Anyway, notice that I had a haircut, and I didn't know how to style it perfectly, I did spend half an hour sitting in front of mirror to put on wax, meticulously, like literally. But still looks not natural, so I give it 10.5 out of 10.

We went to Petrosains and played with the kids too. These are some kind of amateur acts that kids might try at home/outside, I know right, you might say we're childish. Who cares? We enjoy cam-whoring in front of others. :P

He crashed at our room at night.. (Sorry JianSheng, for being forced to sleep on floor, blame it on Teikhua.><)
No pictures for the night, it could be danger as there is practically flooded by immigrants. There gone our KL, almost dominated by immigrants already! ._.

House hopping on 4th day of Chinese New Year

It has been like more than a month for not updating my blog, it's rotting. :O

This year's CNY was much more awesome-r than the previous years, even though some of my friends left for NS, college and all those stuffs.. Was glad that they came back to celebrate together. :D
The 'house hopping' was someone's idea and I have forgotten who thought about that, it was awesome till the max! AngPow tour FTW!
I'd return to that day and non-stop repeating it!

Well, I haven't been using my little dear (D40x) for quite sometimes, so yeah.. Just re-posted the photos taken by Jslmay, feel free to visit her blog.

The Dilemma Has Finally Came To an End.

Regarding recent spams of college stuffs by friends over Facebook, Twitter and other social networks, here comes an idea which haunted me for days. why should I suffer form 6 while the other (who are going for college) get to graduate faster, get better and holistic education, provided with better/alternative routes after graduating college?!

Initial thought :-

'Dang.. look how the realistic world is, money does the speaking now, in this world, no money, no talk. The world itself is a realist, no one would actually bother about the poor.'
'Dang, everyone is going for A levels, I want to follow them too, I'll feel being left out if I study form 6. Awww...'
'FML, why? why? why?! Why do I have to suffer under this Malaysian education system?!

Well, after days of thinking and thinking (almost causes me insomnia) if I will be able to cope with the form 6 studies (as I think I've no other choice.), it's useless to whine too much, so yeah... Think that I should face the facts and stay optimistic and not being too fickle minded or easily influenced by the other beside me.

To be optimistic, I do think that STPM wouldn't as hard as what people used to tell, I've survived for the past 5 years studying secondary school, it wouldn't be hard for me to get through it in just 2 years time (hopefully)!

Okay, to all form 6-ers out there, let's strive hard, and not to slack off, lower 6 is not a honeymoon year!
Hope to see you in CLHS form 6 classes, at least more people that would be nice to mix with? lol

Korea trip, day 1

Korea.. What you would think of, every time when you hear of Korea? The country of hot guys and nice girls? The country of plastic surgery? (Oh well, who would actually give a damn thinks if you see lots of nice girls walking pass you??) Country of Kimchi? what else...
It was awesome indeed, the wonders of why people like K-pop or any Korean's trend in my mind has finally come to an end. :)

Okay, let's cut the crap, shouldn't have talked too much sometimes, it doesn't benefit, seriously. Here we go...

This is when we're waiting for our luggage check-in. It was a family vacation though, my relatives far from KL joined us too, which means, more fun! more joy during the trip. :)

Yeah, It was a Cathay Pacific plane. The air stewardess were so nice and looked gorgeous, compared to Malaysians Airlines' 'old' air stewardess... LOL, it's just my personal opinion, no offense intended. Relaks-lah! :)

I screwed my 2010,
and I don't want to do the same thing in this lovely decade, never!
To those who had fall down, don't be afraid to strike back.

2011 New Year Resolution : Get a job (probably working for dad, mostly), do well in studies (A-levels or Form 6 at CLHS), get my driving license, amend my negative habits. Oh well, I don't hope for much, just 4 of them. :)

Anyway, Happy New Year peeps! Forget your past and ready for your brand new year ahead!

Oh damn, I missed the new year eve celebrations, got sick after back from vacation, so yeah... .______.

What-We-Actually-Did-After-SPM

It was 14th of December 2010, the day that marks the end of the painstaking process in upper secondary school life. We actually had fun after SPM, and even thought of the air we inhale POST-SPM is better than before it. :P
We had like 2 consecutive days of outing after SPM, and I never felt tired of it. TeeHee!

I'd always wonder why would he sweat like hell even in air-conditioned room. -.-
ORANGEEEEE!!

Everyone was so serious initially....
.... but ended up, everyone gone higher and higherrrrrr!

Went to Irish Pub for chill out, I couldn't really take alcohol, those who know me should have known that my face turns REDDISH after drinking beer.. :O

And it was XiMing's birthday too, bumped into her and her friends at Straits Quay! Happy belated birthday. :)

My posture was full of mistakes, can't blame me, it was my very first time doing it, got 2 strikes with luck and hit 100 marks though. HAHA. :P

Of course, we did take photo before leaving, so as to prove I'd been to Penang Bowl. :D

SO, more to come actually, Hotel Stay up next? They're still making their decision on which beach, which hotel and when to do.. :D

The day was awesome, we had fun, we chatted, we ate, we drank, and nearly got drunk.
Haha.. Lazy to elaborate anymore, photos will do the talking. :)

These 2 guys fried noodles, fried sprouts and fried rice using the BBQ plate.. That made me kinda speechless, bah, the cooked well though.

There was a luxurious cars exhibition over Gurney, Bentley, Maserati, Ferrari, and more. People like us crowded the main entrance, taking photos and being busybody.

Friendship Never Ends

This was taken during taking the elevator down from Wonderland Restaurant at 11th floor of Komtar Tower. Frankly, that day was joyous and it was thrilling to take photo inside an old, not-really-well-maintained elevator, though, you might have thought, 'lol, this looks stupid.'
Well, form 5 is tough, full of obstacles, yet, we managed to make miracles out of difficulties, instead of goes through the form 5 life painstakingly, nor in misery despair, we have had loads and loads of fun *most of the time*.. :)
Anyway, Form 5 would be a great year without SPM.
All the best, guys! 50++ more days until SPM, we could make it, good luck! YEAH!

The Inofficial 5SB2 (2010)

HAH! The title says it all, 5SB2 (Chung Ling High School Penang) 2010 is way too rocks! WE did had fun with each other in the class! Yes, we did even on normal school days!

----I would say, 'My class rocks! That's the reason. :)'----
----Someone would ask me, 'Why said so? Schooling is effin boring la weyy.'----

Below are the reasons :

FIRST: We play any banter on anyone, which it ends with peace, no bloodshed nor burst into tears*

SECOND: My classmates would be fully-cooperative whenever there's a need.

THIRD: We show strong 'family-alike-bond'. :DD

CienZen, YeongSheng and JianSheng, 'the-triangle-love'. They were having some affairs among themselves recently. LOL.

We care about one another, we're like a family, together we stand. =DD

FOURTH: We pay attention during lessons, (apparently not, lol).

FIFTH: They bring their 'girlfriend' to school just to make their school life, full of 'joy'.

'OOOOPPPPSSSSS... Hello peeps, Kelvin is finally back in blogging.'
LOL! Blog was halted for likely 2 weeks, and I could only online during weekends. Well, There are loads of works waiting for me. This would be a short update after having initially-dull-normal dinner with mum, which then turned into fun-thrilled night street photo-shoot. It happened just 3 hours ago! Hopefully you will enjoy reading. ;)
Well, Mum and me have our dinner at Upper Chulia Street after dropped my sister to tuition.

His Wan Tan Mee very nice! Like it very much.

Time Flies without Notification

Well, there are still 3 months ahead until the SPM, around 100+ days, 100+ days aren't short, neither long. However, time flies, without any notification, they won't poke you and then tell you that, 'I'm leaving.' They WON'T! So, we gotta cherish the time, even a second could change one's life...

SPM is right ahead of us! Just a blink of eyes! Not kidding, and I'm worrying about my add maths, which used to be my favourite subject.
And someone told me MapleStory is addictive, but then I refused to listen to that freaking advice at first, yea, I'm deeply regret now. It wasted my time, wasted it instead of chatting around with ... in Skype. FML! SORRY!!! :(
@ TEIKHUA, I quit the job!! No more CarCorCia for me. Damn! :(

Dang.. It's all because of a careless driver and a stupid bike. -.-
Well, being knocked down by a car wasn't a good memory, yet it has 'cast-ed' a 3-weeks-torture onto my left arm. Lil fracture at wrist joint, damn, and now I have to do things with only one hand, for example, like now, I'm typing with one hand...

I have to sleep with this pose, it's so uncomfortable, but how, still gotta get use to it.

Sob sob, please! be careful when driving. It's so damn dangerous for being on road and knock an L-licensed driver...

Wish that Malaysia's roads/pedestrian streets could be like this too. It gives a sense of peace of mind.

It was his big day, house warming party cum birthday countdown on 6th of June. Again, I was like gay and partner with TeikHua to attend the party again. Wth...
Feels so lazy to elaborate more, so just let the photos to speak.

He looked nervous on that day, I was scared of whether would he get angry if he see us slacking there, doing nothing.

If he does, he would use lasers in his eyes to shoot us until die.

You know who is he? Anthony Tan, my science and maths teacher since form 1, I have no idea when did he become an interior designer. His house pawned, I think there's no other house in Penang same as his, perhaps whole M'sia.
When we first stepped into his house, we were like, walking into a themed park.
When my mum and dad viewed through my photos taken that day, she gave me a stupid question, 'Is he insane? Anymore photos???'

Note that not I don't want to take more photos, but it was impossible for me just to take photos there instead of playing around like a MORON.

She rocks, she is the only one who gets full marks (50marks) from every judges. Legendary, she can sing very high pitch.. Like her voice very much.

First thing first, I'm so sorry for delayed 'schedule' to update this post, due to some copyright over the photos, I was banned to upload SOME photos, But now, everything has done and I can continue blogging with my pics. Yay =]

Well, another huge event it was, the Leo Idol Talent Search 2010 has finally arrived Penang. AND surprisingly! the preliminary final and final round were on the same day too!

Was there earlier for preparation. ROAR! =D

Because of it was still in progress of preparation, Teik Hua and I lingered around the hall for some photos. =]

Don't think I'm rich, this is definitely not MINE and it was bulky and became a burden for my hand, so HEAVY! damn!
okay, I borrowed it from my uncle until the coming Monday as he's not using it so long time ago and yet I'm using this during Leo Idol 2010!

It was just another sunny Saturday morning, and as usual, I followed my mum and grandma to the Chowrasta Market, which I used to go there since I was still small. And, I like to shoot happening places, market place will be my top choice of photographing ladies, annoying ladies, and extremely annoying old ladies! Yea great, get ready to roll out!

Walk For Sight 2010, Padang Polo, Penang [Part 1]

It was all happening on 11th of April 2010 at Padang Polo! A gigantic event it was, which gotten the attention and wide coverage by Penangites as well as foreigners, press, web and etc..

Was being appointed by HimKeat to be the one of the 5 official photographers for the event, it was truly a new experience for me, as being photographer in this big scale event.
Thanks KokSheng for fetching me there so 'early in the morning'.

This charity walk was jointly organized by St. Nicholas. As you can see here, the sight-impaired mates were brought into the charity walk too.

Chew Jetty photoshoot (4/4/2010)

As for your information, there are many clan jetties named after their surnames, like 'Tan', 'Chew', 'Lim' and bla bla bla... which the Chew Jetty was the most famous and now even has poised to be one of the tourist attraction in Penang. They even provide boat ride, room stay and more facilities along the walkways over the water.

Well, this was another photoshoot outing with friend, compared to the previous post about outdoor portraiture with PheayRong, this time I have another partner, or should say, a more experienced photographer, or so-called 'PRO' photographer, who is Lim TeikHua, who recently got his new EOS 7D.

And luckily the weather was not hot throughout the day.

Welcome to the 'UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE - PENANG CLAN JETTIES'.

Alleys or narrow paths connecting the first house until the end, the narrow bridge or so-called 'jetty' for fishermen.

Empty space out-there, where residents used to process their salted fish or hang and dry their wet garments.

I used to photograph stray cats, I like to shoot stray cats. Unlike domestic cats, those stray cats possess 'wilder' personalities (狂野)! MIAOOOO~~

Welcome to the hair saloon. TeikHua can go there do perm for his hair while enjoying sunbath at the waterfront settlement. =D

Leftover: A house was burned down recently, if you have read about this news one month or more before.

Cheng Beng 2010

As the previous years, my dad used to wake me up at 6am in the morning and head to cheng beng by motorbike, while my mum and lazy sister continue their sweetdream on their bed.. ISHHH!
I took my mum's compact camera instead of bringing my own DSLR which is a 'burden', without
any notification. lol
So, we have our breakfast after bumped into uncle and aunt.
Well, we had the same breakfast before cheng beng every year... yam rice and 'lobak' soup at a stall near 4th street. ==
Surprisingly, the first place we went has already cleaned up, the bushes all gone, weird.. So we just pray with joss sticks and headed to the second place.

Works began, we have to pull bushes ourselves, such an exercise.
Today's lesson : Do not try a shortcut, my dad stepped onto bullshit when walk through a shortcut.. so lucky. lol

Dad trying to wash off the bullshit with water, while I squeezed my sanitizer onto his leg too.. EWWW...

Me, folding joss papers, but in facts, I was just posing for my moral project. I need more photos for my project photos. But I really working, not slacking.

Cheers! After more than an hour of hardwork, we settled our second round of clean up. =D
Then, we headed to the 3rd (last place).

My grandpa, the camera face detected him somemore... p/s: my name was cropped.

Rather than paying the other to clean the bushes for us, we had use our own hands to clean the bushes away, as a commitment and respect toward our ancestors.
Well, you gotta believe me, I didn't complain to be awaken early nor my face get 'grilled' by the scorching hot sun, neither both. =D

Preparing joss papers, my dad was slacking.

Wee, peace? hahahahahaaa.
At around 11am, the whole morning of hardwork finally adjourned, so, I went home and sleep straight away. *Of course after bath. =D*

People say, '清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断魂', but i think it should be amended to '清明时节热昏昏,　弄到人欲睡昏昏'. LOL　　

First ever editted photo with photoshop and photoscape

Never knew that my photoscape allows me to create such this kind of dramatic-feeling photo.
Well, it was originally editted using my expired photoshop CS3 to create vignetting effect (black shadow on the edges of the photo) and monochrome, then post-post editing with photoscape to add on some cinematic effects.

p/s: This photo was taken when I was participating in ICCP (intercoastal cleanup project) by Lions club and it reminds me something which I was in the same group with yongseng and our beloved JASON CH'NG. You will always be with us. =(

My very first time photoshooting outdoor model portraiture (21st March 2010)

Wee.. Have just lost my 'VIRGINITY' that morning! HAHAHAHAHA!
Well, just kidding! the 'virginity' doesn't means that i have lost my 'XXX' but my very first time shooting outdoor portraiture with LIVING models with PheayRong Ang.
WOOTS! Thanks to Chian Shiong for being our 'driver' to fetch us go and flo throughout the session.
WooW! it was really an skill-enriching experience, and thanks for the 'free' models, who was this hot-sweet-spicy-couple, Chian Siong and Chin Pin. Thanks for bringing me into the 'game' too. =)
**The 4W's I wanted to say before start posting...

Let's get the whole 'story' started. =)
PheayRong.com spam-called me early in the morning (when I still has yet woke up)... which kept me grounding. =P
But still, I get up from my bed and had my breakfast with my dad, surprisingly, I was the one who fetch myself and dad to school with bike, without L nor P license. =S

OKOK! Being the so-called 'director' for that day, I forced them to do whatever poses i wanted!
We went to Penang Botanical Garden for the first session. Get ready... Start!

We even asked the uncle who was playing with bubbles with his kids beside to add on some effect for the photos. Like, blowing bubbles for us. =P

Went to the next place for the 2nd photoshoot session, this broaden the styles and choices of the photos taken. We were at Gurney Drive.

Simple enough? Sweet enough! Hot enough! Each pic expresses the unbreakable linkage between them.

After that, we went to Evergreen hotel to change costumes and took a little rest.

Changed costume, were really a potential-model-wanna-be, brought extra shirts to change. =D

Shanghai-Jiang Nan 8 Days Trip [DAY 4]

Heyy, it has been a month for not updating about my trip in Shanghai, China. Kay, now let's continue with the 4th day.

The day started with a buffet style breakfast, it seems like every hotel in China offers fried egg and noodle soup in the buffet breakfast, the fried egg and noodle soup are like their 'must-eat' in their breakfast. *so far it had been my 4th day in china and I used to have these as my breakfast since 4 days before. High protein and carbohydrate content --- keep warmth. Woots! *

Okkie, the photo below indicates the start of the day 4.

My 'yaoyeng' daddy. He told me he was too full. == *He sat beside me in the tour bus throughout the whole vacation.*

Having some hot soups perhaps? The temperature that day was like 2 ~ 4 degree Celsius, working under this serious condition was killing. Pity him, he still had to stand outside the hotel the whole day.

Arrived the ChangJiang Bridge in Nanjing after half an hour. At the bridge,

The Yangtze River a.k.a. the mighty ChangJiang river(长江).

Like this very much, it looks like a mixture of society of modern and the older days. Meaningful?

Another side of the bridge, pure handmade. And there is a touching and patriotism-igniting story behind the bridge. It indicates the start of the inclining power of the mighty China.
After all, we went for a lunch at a jade wholesale shop in NanJing.

Not many people bought their products even though their convincing skill is so damn good.
Then, we arrived WuXi after 2 hours journey.
First place we visited in WuXi was the Great Buddha statue of LingShan (灵山大佛).

The statue of Buddha of LingShan (灵山大佛 a.k.a. 佛大山灵 when read inversely). We have to walk likely more than 300 steps in order to reach the top.

After these, i shut my DSLR down and just following the tourist guide. We spent most of the time there, and the sky was already dark when we left the LingShan.

PCGHS Foodfair and Gurney [14th March 2010]

It was the annual PCGHS food fair 2010, my zimui were there duty for Leo's Game's booth too. So, I decided to have a 'morning-walk' around the school compound rather than staying at home and go tuition.
Thanks Wan Pei and Corrinne for being my 'tourist guide' to lead me into the Leo's booth, if not, I was gonna lost. Note that it was my very first time entering the PCGHS compund. Failed... ==

Photos will speak in this post, too lazy.

Well, I was sitting on the bench beside them, this is very random, yet not stalking anyone of you in the photo. In the photo, Chien Ming and some 'I-don't-know-who-are-them' girls.

I spent most of my time at Leo's Game's booth, chattering with Leo pals, Teik Hua (talked the most, stalked the most together with him) and many more. BUT DIDNT TAKEN ANY PHOTO THERE!
Walked around the other booths, This pair of dad and son caught our attention. Very touching!

Daddy was trying to stabilize his son, even it took much patience.

And finally, they success. His son was laughing happily and saying 'DAD! STOP TOUCHING MY BUTT!'. =S

Then walked to the field.
While the rest of time was used to do some ridiculous acts, like stalking Lee May and Zhi Cheng. We stalked...just like what those paparazzi do.

Zhi Cheng and Lee May! I knew their hands very 'gatal' and wanted to hold each other already.

Very disappointing... They didn't hold hand at all. xD

After all, they walked toward some dark dark places where the paparazzi (me, teik hua, seong san and yan yao) chosen not to follow anymore.. =X

My first update after exam adjourned.
I got the 'mood' to write this post when i was doing revision for my Biology test yesterday as i was browsing through my camera album. Zoom here, magnified there and found many nice photos... Hence, I decided to share with you all.
The 庙会 had given me a few opportunities, guess what? Well, i went there with bunches of friends of course included HER too. ;P

CNY 2010 [Day 1]

YEAH! The day that was, the Chinese New Year 2010 cum Valentine's Day..

*Amanda : Even though we cant celebrate Valentine's day today together, but it might be a good thing! See, we got ANGPOWS then we could spend the money during hangout. I love you! =) *

Back to main title, today is CNY!! First and foremost! happy CNY 2010!!!

As previous years, once after bath, we said '恭喜发财，　红包拿来 !!!' then, we got biggest ANGPOWS from parent. WEE!!

After all, we cam-whored before heading to grandma's house. LOVELY FAMILY! =)

CNY reunion dinner with family and relatives [13/02/2010]

Heya folks, today is 13th of February 2010, the day before the Chinese New Year 2010, most probably, every Chinese family will have their reunion lunch or dinner either at their house.

Of course, my grandma's house had a reunion dinner today too. This year might be a little bit different from the previous years as... my relative just have a baby recently. =)

Okay! back to the main title, my relatives from KL came to Penang yesterday to have reunion dinner together. My grandma and her sister (from KL) cooked lots of 'houliao' nice foods!
*mouth-watering*!

All ladies were preparing foods, got chicken, got prawns, got roasted pork, got fish and many other mouth-watering dishes. =D

Kids were shifted to another table, because we 'adults' talked crap and *evil laugh*, don't want to let them to know... =P

Shanghai-Jiang Nan 8 Days Trip [DAY 3]

26th December 2009
So, the story goes on, the third day in Shanghai, we spent only a morning in SuZhou, until afternoon only we proceeded to NanJing.

Here was where my dad bought silk-made pillows and blankets. The tourist guide was too 'professional' as he could really convinced us to buy so many things. PRO!

Reached NanJing,

At a restaurant in NanJing, we tried the NanJing's local cuisine which always include the 'salted duck (咸水鸭)' in every meals. Well, was really salty ==
After the lunch, We went to the XuanWuHu Park. The weather there was COLD! DAMN! I ALMOST LOST MY GLOVE.

The plums. WOOO~~ can you imagine how did i feel?! SOUR + COLD WEATHER!
The most important thing to be done during travel is to take photos of yourself. =)

The NanJing Massacre Memorial Museum (南京大屠杀博物馆), loads of terrifying bones and descriptions which made me nervous initially...

Statues.. CRUELTY and IMPERIALISM... Haix.. My heartfelt sympathy toward the victims during that time. =(

There were almost 300k of NanJing citizens being killed in this cruelty invasion
(13rd Dec 1937 ~ January of 1938).

Shanghai-Jiang Nan 8 Days Trip [DAY 2 - PART 3]

Finally, after 2 weeks of stoppage time since the happening of the accident of late Jason, Brendon and Yi Zhang and the 3 other victims, The drama 'Shanghai trip' continues. The part 3 of day 2 in Shanghai is finally here! Do enjoy reading this. =)

The story continues as we reached the Harmony Times Square. We visited the World's largest LED sky dome which located over there.
But before seeing the sky dome, we have to walk through the entrance of the harmony Times Square.

The colourful-rainbow-coloured light was created by the LED. It looks much more nice during night.

The sky was getting darker, this emphasized the brightness of LED and enhanced the attractiveness and awesomeness.

After that, we went to SuZhou Science and Cultural Arts Center. ( SuZhou Bird Nest)

The LED on the wall kept changing the colours.

Waiting there after some snapping some photos. The weather that night was like frostbite, and we have to wait the travel bus for 10 minutes!

The dinner owned! We ate hairy crab (大闸蟹).

Don't get shocked, because their crabs were only like a size of hand. Lmao..

Although the incident has past for so long time, I still have to write this post as i have already written posts for 2 of his best friends (Jason and Brendon), if I not managed to do so, I scare Yi Zhang will come to find me and say I'm no good.

R.I.P. Leo Brendon Yeoh (24/01/1993 - 17/01/2010)

Personally, i don't like to write something very sad or 'emotional' posts on my blog. But, this is an exception, my pal, Brendon has just said goodbye to his life, to his friends, to his family and to the world. He was not alone though, he was another one of the six victims in the tragical dragon boat mishap incident which also claimed the life of my another 2 friends, Jason and Yi Zhang. =(

We knew each other when we sat together during BM tuition in Form 2. Dang... i still remember you were the one who introduced me to read 草莓 100% comic during the tuition.

You were my Leo pal and fellow YE officer, i misses all your cold jokes and 'wtf-ing' acts while your Peter Chao's style will never be forgotten. Lots of people have sent request to Peter Chao to make a tribute video for you. YEAH!! =)

During Ye workshop, your team won our 'royal' team... Too regretted for not includding you and Chien Ming into the team.

Greenlane McD BOD meeting. Your T-shirt design was nice, but just the official regulations stated there T-shirts productions are not allowed.

During late April, we YE went to Lead Programme at PSDC. Gained lots of laughter and much more huh?

During PRS camp. Thanks for entertaining us while waiting for Leo meeting.

YE Liquidation workshop: Only you, Yong Seng, Wei Kang and I were attending the workshop, You said the quote 'you're what you eat' suddenly, we ate 'duodenum' which should be called as 'papadom'.

YE Annual report 2009: Your efforts paid. Even we were not managed to get the best annual report, but still thanks for your photoshop skills and much more contributions for YE, which should be uncountable.

During CLHS Gerko Open day, which was the last time I seeing you. Dang.. i regretted for pointing you with my middle finger, I want you to tease me 'missy (missyanda)' again! Now I tell you, I'm in a relationship!

You promised to make this T-shirt for me! You said wanted to form a photography crew with this 'uniform', wasn't it ?

I love your design for Mercuralia logo. It was really rocks! Even though it has only a 'life' of few days or weeks.

Anyway, I have chosen to face the facts. You will never be forgotten, my Leo pal and fellow Mercuralia (YE 2009), i misses all your cold jokes and 'wtf-ing' acts while your Peter Chao's style rocks too. Remember to find me through Dream with Jason. =)

R.I.P. Leo Jason Ch'ng (24/09/1993 - 17/01/2010)

Our beloved president of Leo Club of Chung Ling High School, Leo Jason Ch'ng Wai Seong has just been stopped from heart-beating on 17th of January 2010. He was the one of the six victims of the tragic accident of dragon boat capsized which happened on the same morning.

I cried during your funeral twice, my emotion totally went broken down after saw your face in the casket... Rest in peace.
SO, THIS POST IS SPECIALLY WRITTEN FOR YOU. Yes, you !

I still remember my nickname 'Siao jiao' was created by you and Chin Can when we were in the same class Form 1T5. That time, I really started to feel annoying that time as you used to call me like that every time we met each other during tuition, school activities and etc.

Still remember when we were in form 1? We used to sit together during tuition at Anthony and Mr. Yang? We often chit chat and made fun of others during his tuition, we get canned together by Anthony for playing a banter on (作弄) Wan Ling. I really miss that moment.

Still remember when we were in form 1? We used to play Maple Story together. You have my account ID and password as well as I have yours too. Was your character's ID 'Monkeyboy12', i have forgotten your ID? We used to play both of our accounts together, we used to lie on each other, we stole 'mesos' from each other and played Party Quest together, we joined Chen Hee's 'ChaosForces' guild...Now, all these memories kept flashing through my mind.

Still remember when we were in form 1? We used to sit at the same row during Mandarin tuition at Mr. Yeoh there. During form 2, you used to sms with your 'honey' who i didn't know initially, after 'half year of research', i knew she is Crystal. Even though Crystal only sat in front of you, you used to sms with her from the beginning of the tuition until the end. In order to not to disturb both of you, i chosen to sit inner place with Yao Sheng which few chairs distance beside you instead of sitting beside you.

Still remember when we were in form 1? We were in the same group with Joshua and Chin Can for the Geography project? We carried out our research at Chin Can's house, we went to 1-Stop to lunch. You and Chin Can went to the arcade center while Joshua and I not dare to enter! When Joshua and I waiting for you two to come back, I sent you a fake message which written 'Polices coming, fast back!' well, you were not stupid though. =). Throughout the research, we have loads of fun which could only become memories now. No? =(

BUT then, our friendship was loosen after you went to A class in form 2 while i stayed in B class. You and I became stranger after all, until last year, I joined your Leo club and you joined my YE club, we only talked for a little bit. I'm really sorry, i didn't cherish our friendship well from the beginning.

Anyway, the photos will show it all...

Shanghai-Jiang Nan 8 Days Trip [DAY 2 - PART 2]

Finally i found my chance to write this post. Sequel for the previous 'episodes, parts or whatever it was', the part 2 of 2nd day in China.

Still remember where did i stop in the previous episode? The story continues as i arrived Suzhou Province (苏州). We had our lunch at an 'I-have-forgotten' restaurant, but the foods were delicious though.

After that, we went to the next spot -- HanShan Temple (寒山寺）.

The 寒山寺 is a temple. I forgot to take a panorama shot fot the temple.
After that, we followed our tourist guide to the next 'attractive place' -- the Suzhou Museum (苏州博物馆). It was designed by world renowned architect IeohMing Pei (貝聿銘) The design complements the traditional architecture of Zhong Wang Fu (太平天国-忠王李秀成). Wow, i must be too lucky, i could still remember what did the tourist guide told us.

Shanghai-Jiang Nan 8 Days Trip [DAY 2 - PART 1]

Finally, the long-awaited episode is here. Enjoy reading it while not forget to give me some comments.
Let's the story continues, the ep. 2 is here. The 2nd day of tour.
24th of December 2009.
We woke up at 6.30am after a long sleep on the previous day. After had our buffet-style breakfast at the hotel, we continued our journey.
We went to ChengHuang Temple market(城隍庙集市). In China, they use the word '庙' to indicate a crowded and famous place. Eg, 夫子庙街 etc.

Wow.. i like their super-big-delicious soup dumpling so much. Have to use straw to suck the soup/gravy inside.

ROAR: They sang, danced and chit-chat, happy or upset is up to themselves, we shall learn from them.

Another Shanghai XiaoLongPao(小笼包 soup dumpling) stall. From the long queue in the photo, u shall know how tasty were they.

Thanks for grandpa for queuing up to buy 小笼包 for us. =)

小笼包. i ate 3 of them. There's only one sentence could describe the way to eat these 小笼包 : 'bite, squirt and taste.'

Rushing to get one! Everyone was just couldn't resists the temptation of mini 小笼包.

Finally, my mum got one for herself!! 1..2..3.. um~um~ delicious!!

Sizzling renowned 臭豆腐. I believe that many people thought that 臭豆腐 were made with some awful stuffs but in facts, they made them through the process of fermentation. Refers to Form 4 Biology text book, anaerobic respiration of plants. =)

Afterward, we paid a visit to 天脉翡翠博览中心, a place where the salesmen/saleswomen were very annoying...

'BiXiu' 貔貅. The instructor explained it thoroughly but still very complicated...

Chinese are very selfish. It said to be by touching the BiXiu (貔貅), he/she will gain good luck. BUT, after touching them, we have to put our hands into our pocket and bring back home.

周文王,named Ji Chang (姬昌) was the founder of 风水,八卦 and bla bla bla... I have forgotten what did the instructor told us.
They asked us to buy the 貔貅 in order to gain luck, they still said I'm potential to be leader. But of course we didn't bought. ==

People there applying environmental-friendly way of living. They use battery to generate electricity for their motorbike instead of using fuel, which is bad to our beloved earth.
After that, we went to 苏州.

Shanghai-Jiang Nan 8 Days Trip [DAY 1]

I have finally back. So, from this onwards, there will be '8 episodes drama' about my trip only on http://kelvinwoes.blogspot.com.
23rd of December.
The day that was, that the journey started on that morning.
All i could comment on this Shanghai-Jiang Nan Trip 8 days trip is: 'COLD, COOL and still COLD!' We departed from house at around 5.45a.m. since the regulations stated there that passengers of international flights have to done check-in 2 hours before flight time. The 'we' represent 10 people from my family included me.

Not long after these, the tourist guide, GIGI (in black) gathered us and explained some 'do's and don'ts' before leaving.

Upon went into the cabin, i quickly swapped my seat with my grandpa who seated beside the window.

Layers of cloud, different shapes at all the time, kept on changing, just like the emotions of human beings, unpredictable.

And finally reached Bangkok International Airport (Transmit city) before off to Shanghai.

Dang.. Jam-packed-duty-free-branded outlets like BOSS fragrance, GUCCI, COACH, LV, Worldwide Watches and bla bla bla were everywhere...

After 4 hours of tiring flight, i arrived Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

Dang.. Photographing is strictly prohibited inside any of the China International Airport. =(

Upon arrival, we took a ride on the Maglev Train (磁浮列车), something like the bullet train in Japan or 'super-advanced-yet-high-speed' LRT in Malaysia. The maximum speed it could reached is 369km/hour.

After 10 minutes, we arrived to LongYang Road Station.

Before went to have dinner, we took a stroll to our tour bus which parked far-far away from the station. We walked through the night market too.

After ate dinner, we went to Shanghai World Financial Center （环球金融中心）, currently the 2nd tallest building in the world.

We ascended up to the 94th floor to have a panorama view of the Shanghai during the night. I brought my tripod up there too. =)

After that, we went to The Bund (外滩)where famous of the drama 上海滩 and its legendary historical background.
The whole sightseeing turned out very disappointing as the temperature was only 2 degrees and started to have maze again!

I love their buildings at night. Nice orange lights from head of the road until the end, but this causes serious light pollution. I could rarely see a single star hanging on the sky during the night.

After that, we went to XinTianDi Bistro Area (新天地酒吧街）. Nightlife and more! So many hot chicks and photographers with long-big lens there.

I wonder were they dwarfs or elf ?!

Merry belated Christmas. =)

After all, we back to hotel. Hotel of that night was the 5-stars Paradise Hotel （甸园大酒店）.

Grandma did some preparations, poured water onto the flours, 'giving massage' and etc...

Third day in camp. Station Games, Water Games and more. Everyone was able to mix well with each other.
