Chinese New Year Open House 2009

As usual, i went to Chowrasta market for breakfast with family. Suprisingly, the Campbell Street was closed for various functions, and after checking the internet, i knew that there will be an Open House event on the day.
The purpose of helding this event to make the coming Chinese New Year a grand and joyful one, the State Government is organising a Chinese New Year Open House at Campbell Street on 29th January 2009 from 6.30pm to 10.30pm in the company of several cultural shows, such as lion dance and chingay performance.

After my dinner near there, i with my grandfather(the most left person in the photo) walk together toward the Campbell Street. As seen, there was already a huge crowd queue up there waiting for free foods.

Surprisingly, i was stunned that a crowd of very very young audiences performing their Chingay show.

Then, i continue to walk alone. The street was well-decorated with red lanterns.

A stall owner explaining an old player.

A couple of elders performing their Hokkien song beside the street karaoke.

Still remember the blaze raided a row of shop lots at Campbell Street? this tragedy loss more than RM80,000 of goods and killed an old man. Thus, the committeesgroup there held this charity fund collect.

A fund collecter posing for my shot. I got donate RM1 also. =P

Then, i continue to walk inner of the street, the road was nearly crowded by people.
On my way back to join my family (about 9.30pm), i could still see there were many people queue up there for free foods.
That's all for today, hope more events like this will be held.

Happy New Year !

On 30 of Dec, every form 3 students was panic in the morning but relaxing in the afternoon, me too. On that day, while everyone are keeping discussing among themselves about how many 'A' will they get or how panic they were, i was still chatting with Hian Phin (in lala costume) freely besides 4SB2. Well, finally we got the result and it wasn't too surprised me. I got a straight 'A's result =).

My 8As reward, Maybank gave me RM100.00, Adventist Hospital gave me RM120.00 as my mum was a staff nurse working there. Perhaps my dad will award me a SONY Digital SLR A200k and etc..

Lastly, thank you to those who had greeted me, thanks to YS for helping me advertise my blog, thanks to those greeting me for New Year and blah blah blah...

Well, remember to buckle up back seat belt and wish you a very happy 2009. Bye bye 2008. Hello Form 4 life of honeymoon, bye bye form 3 life with a lot of obstacles... =0
Got to go to sleep, night all ^.^
