26th December 2009
So, the story goes on, the third day in Shanghai, we spent only a morning in SuZhou, until afternoon only we proceeded to NanJing.
Here was where my dad bought silk-made pillows and blankets. The tourist guide was too 'professional' as he could really convinced us to buy so many things. PRO!
Reached NanJing,
At a restaurant in NanJing, we tried the NanJing's local cuisine which always include the 'salted duck (咸水鸭)' in every meals. Well, was really salty ==
After the lunch, We went to the XuanWuHu Park. The weather there was COLD! DAMN! I ALMOST LOST MY GLOVE.
The plums. WOOO~~ can you imagine how did i feel?! SOUR + COLD WEATHER!
The most important thing to be done during travel is to take photos of yourself. =)
Thanks to my mum for photos
Me, my daddy and sister.
My family with grandpa and grandma. =)
I love this picture. Best, epic and bla bla bla... Just very like the scene behind as well as the 'us' in the photo. =)
Dad and mum. SOOOooo lovely, admire LOL.
*Teikhua don't say my dad looks like a mafia here! LOL*
My mum, 'the-best-daughter-in-law' and my grandma and aunt.
3 lenglui's, so beautiFUL!
My grandpa, he looks young but in facts, he's turning 73 year-old soon. Wish him and grandma live healthy and long life. =)
Rider. *tring tring*
Heading back to travel bus, then went to the place where i scare the most!!
The NanJing Massacre Memorial Museum (南京大屠杀博物馆), loads of terrifying bones and descriptions which made me nervous initially...
Statues.. CRUELTY and IMPERIALISM... Haix.. My heartfelt sympathy toward the victims during that time. =(
There were almost 300k of NanJing citizens being killed in this cruelty invasion
(13rd Dec 1937 ~ January of 1938).
R.I.P., the deceased.
The items left after the Japanese army retreated...
The ways of 'treating' the locals. Some were being raped while some were being gunshot, corpses scattered all along the street. =(
The so-called 'peace statue'.
My little souvenir -- maple leaf. Well, it was so fragile, it cracked into pieces just once i put into my backpack...
After that, we reached Confucian Temple Night Market. I almost lost in the market, SO LUCKY..
SHOW OFF!
My 鸭血汤 and 周星馳的撒尿牛肉丸~~ hot hot~~
Failed to capture what i wanted to. =(
That's all for day 3. Hope you will be enjoy reading it. Stay tuned!!! =)
